From July 22 to 23, the 12th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum, co-sponsored by China International Contractors Association and Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, was grandly opened in Macau. BCEG was invited to attend the forum.
Before the opening ceremony, Macao Chief Executive He Yicheng, Assistant Minister of Commerce Ren Hongbin and Vice President of China International Contractors Association Yu Xiaohong led the delegation to visit the Booth of BCEG. Next day, Ma Youli, President of Macao Chamber of Commerce, accompanied by Fang Qiuchen, President of China International Contractors Association, and Liu Wei, Chairman of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, visited BCEG Booth. Gao Qiang, General Manager of BCEG International Company, said, BCEG is a state-owned enterprise that has undertaken many major projects such as Tian'anmen Rostrum and Yanqi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center. Its overseas business covers 33 countries and regions around the world, and has been selected as the Top 250 Global Contractors for many years. Projects such as Daxing International Airport, New Airport Express Line, Riverside Landmark Project in Thailand and Manchester Airport City in Britain were highlighted, which were fully affirmed and praised by leaders such as He Yicheng.
During the conference, the Secretary for Transport and Public Works of Macao, 18 local leaders of relevant associations, ambassadors and foreign guests from Barbados, Benin, Tanzania, Cote d'Ivoire and Colombia visited the booth one after another. On behalf of BCEG, Gao Qiang held meetings with Tanzanian Ambassador to China and the President of China Association of Medical Equipment Hospital Architecture and Equipment Branch respectively, and exchanged and communicated with many central enterprises and local enterprises on overseas development and strengthening cooperation.
As the most influential annual event in the field of international infrastructure investment and construction, the International Infrastructure Forum has become an important platform for promoting the construction of "the Belt and Road" and deepening the cooperation between China and other countries in the field of infrastructure. This forum held 31 important parallel forums and business activities in two days, attracting more than 1,300 industry elites from more than 500 organizations in 71 countries and regions around the world, including 29 ambassadors and 5 chargés d'affaires, executives from 25 financial institutions, 64 of the top global 250 international contractors, and executives of many industrial chain and supply chain enterprises such as equipment manufacturers, engineering service providers and international consulting institutions. With the help of the platform of Macau Forum, the BCEG's exhibiting team had an in-depth exchange with elites from all walks of life to showcase the brand of BCEG and seek future development together, further helping the Group to join the national strategy, build "the Belt and Road" and achieve high-quality development of the Group's international business.
BCEG entered Macao in the late 1980s. At present, Macao has the branch of BCEG, which have successively undertaken a series of projects, such as Beijing-Macao Building, Block C Comprehensive Medical Building of Kiang Wu Hospital, A-Ma Plaza improvement project, and the renovation project of the Service Platform Complex Exhibition Hall for Business Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, actively contributing to the development of Macao and the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with high-quality projects.
