On August 1, 2021, the roof concrete pouring of B2 floor in East Throat Area of Bid Section 01 of Beijing City Sub-center Station Integrated Transportation Hub undertaken by BCEG, the largest underground integrated transportation hub in Asia, was completed first, which marked that the project fully entered a new stage of underground main structure construction.
The Integrated Transportation Hub of Beijing City Sub-center Station is one of the passenger transport hubs serving the whole country in Beijing, with an underground construction area of 1.28 million square meters, consisting of 3 parts: station core area, connecting area and throat area. The station structure is divided into three floors, covering intercity railway and subway arrival halls, waiting and departure halls of the intercity station, rail transfer space, urban public space and commercial supporting facilities, etc. After completion, it will become the largest underground integrated transportation hub in Asia, which can realize direct reach to Xiong’an New Area in 1 hour, Daxing International Airport in 35 minutes and Capital International Airport in 15 minutes. BCEG is responsible for the construction of the 01 and 04 bid sections of the integrated transportation hub of Beijing City Sub-center Station.
Next, the east throat area is planned to enter the B3 floor concrete structure construction, and is expected to complete the B3 floor mid-slab and side wall construction within the year. It means that the main structural section of the integrated transportation hub of the city sub-center station is fully under construction of the main structure.
