BCEG has broken ground on the project of central sewage treatment plant in Ulan Bator
On 28th of February 2019, the groundbreaking ceremony for the project of Ulan Bator's central sewage treatment plant was held in Ulan Bator, capital of Mongolia. Haiming Xing, the Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, Yanjun Li, the Chinese counselor in Mongolia, Yiming Gu, the head of political section at the Chinese embassy in Mongolia, Mongolian Prime Minister Khurelsukh, Mongolian Foreign Minister Tsogtbaatar, Minister of Urban Construction of Mongolia and Mayor of Ulan Bator attended the ceremony.
The project is located in Ulan Bator which has become the largest municipal infrastructure project in Mongolia in recent years. And it will be the largest sewage treatment plant in Mongolia after completing the construction. The project involves in engineering design and construction. The total scale of the construction is 250000 m³/d including 150000 m³/d sanitary sewage and 100000 m³/d industrial wastewater. The project is in the form of consortium bid with No.4 China Railway Bureau, and BCEG accounts for 40% in the consortium bid.
It will help solve the problem of inadequate capacity of sewage treatment and improve water quality.
