Recently, BCEG has successfully signed a contract for the project of multi-functional building called Pan African postal union building in Arusha, Tanzania.
The project is the first high-rise project undertaken by Tanzanian branch of the group. It is located in Arusha, Tanzania, with a total of 17 floors and construction scale of about 23000 square meters. The project proprietor and capital source are the joint venture of Tanzania communication administration and Pan African Postal Union. After completion, it will become a landmark building in Arusha and present a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Pan African Postal Union. Meanwhile, it will strengthen friendly exchanges between Tanzania and other African countries and promote employment.
The Pan African Postal Union is an international inter-governmental organization affiliated to the African Union. It was established on 18th of January 1980, with its headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania. Most of the 45 member countries are the least developed countries. Its main responsibilities are to coordinate the development of postal services in African countries, promote the reform of joint construction of physical postal network, electronic postal network and financial postal network in Beijing, and provide innovative, comprehensive and inclusive policy guidelines for the development of African postal industry.
