On 6^th of January 2020, BCEG completed the construction of prefabricated structure of Caoyuan South No.1 Street underground comprehensive pipe gallery project in Tongzhou Culture and Tourism District. BCEG participated in the investment and construction of the project.

This is the first fully mechanized assembly of prefabricated multi cabin structure pipe gallery in China. The second generation of integrated pipe gallery transportation and assembly system developed by BCEG enables the assembly of multi-cabin structure pipe gallery to be carried out smoothly like "building blocks".

The project has a total length of 60m and is designed as a three compartment structure. The pipe gallery cabin adopts "two plus one", that is, one side single compartment structure and the other side is two compartment structure. At the same time, it is assembled into three compartments, including two electric tanks and one water tank.

The second generation "integrated pipe gallery transportation assembly system" is optimized and upgraded by BCEG project team on the basis of the first fully mechanized assembly system of single cabin assembly pipe gallery in China. 3

With the automatic measurement system, the operation team only needs one controller and three workers to overlap the arc bolt, which can assemble a section of pipe gallery components like "building blocks", greatly improving the working efficiency.

If the concrete cast-in-place method is used for structural construction, more than 30 workers are required, and the construction period is expected to be more than one month. If the application of "integrated pipe gallery transportation and assembly system" is used for assembly, it can progress about 12 meters every day, and it will take about five or six days to complete the assembly of more than 60 meters of pipe gallery.

Currently, the assembly system can take into account the assembly type comprehensive pipe gallery and box component assembly projects with different structural sizes and number of cabins. In the future, it can be widely applied in the reconstruction of old city, the construction of narrow site and complex surrounding environment.

This project is one of the achievements for BCEG of actively promoting the construction of sub-center in Beijing.
