Recently, the Phoenix Industrial Park Project in Trinidad, the first one belt, one road project of Beijing Enterprises in the Caribbean region has officially started operation, which is a good start for BCEG's production and construction of international projects in 2020.
BCEG is the EPC contractor of the project and responsible for the design, procurement and construction of the supporting facilities of the whole park, as well as the investment attraction of 10 Chinese enterprises in the park.
The project is located in the port of Lisas in the Midwest of Trinidad. It covers a total area of 538000 square meters, with a total plant area of 25000 square meters.
As an important measure to implement the development idea of getting rid of the heavy dependence on energy industry, the project will build a high added value light industry and environmental protection park. It is expected that the related industries can comprehensively promote the employment of tens of thousands of people and contribute 5% of the total national GDP each year in Trinidad and Tobago.
Thanks to the project team fully prepared to ensure the works done smoothly. The technical team worked hard on the construction organization design, and the business team constantly communicated and negotiated to select high-quality subcontractors.
In response to the novel coronavirus epidemic situation, the project department has formulated the emergency response plan, and set up the emergency leading group to strengthen the organization management. Some control goods, such as respirator, alcohol, disinfectant have been prepared. Also, the office area, living area and construction site of the project are kept clean and disinfected to ensure the safety and quality of the project and achieve the established objectives.
At the same time, two donations have been made successively by BCEG (Trinidad and Tobago). The team of less than 20 people have donated nearly ten thousand yuan to take their social responsibilities.
